The Institute for European Studies is conducting a survey on the European Documentation Centre to identify ways to improve its services. The European Documentation Centre (EDC) Malta, located within the Institute for European Studies building, is a depository of EU publications. Holdings of the EDC collection are accessible via the University Library catalogue and some printed documents can also be consulted at the Main Library.
The EDC today has a growing collection of books on European themes such as human rights, integration, law and politics. Books are purchased regularly throughout the year by the EDC. Bachelor and Masters in European Studies exam past papers as well as dissertations written by students in part-fulfilment of the degrees in European Studies, offered by the Institute for European Studies, are also found at the EDC.
Besides being a node of reference for researchers, the Centre provides informative material about the EU. Publications issued by the European Commission and by other EU institutions (free of charge) are also made available to members of the public visiting the Centre.
The Institute for European Studies would like your opinion and advice to help improve the services at the EDC. To voice your opinion to improve these services, fill out the questionnaire available at:
