No entry by car to University Ring Road between 08:45 and 10:00
Due to the BRND WGN & University Ring Road Races, the University ring road will be closed to traffic between 08:45 and 10:00 on Sunday 11 March. During this time, people are encouraged to park in the area outside University on the Msida or Gzira side and walk in.
The Old Main Entrance (by the Chapel) will be open before 08:45 and from 10:00 onwards but parking on the ring road will not be possible due to the event. People should only park in Car Park 6 (by the Main Entrance – Mater Dei side) and will be able to exit at any time.
People participating in the Races may park in Parking Area number 10, entering from the Sports Area Entrance (East Gate) from where they will be guided accordingly (approximately 200 spaces available) – however they will not be able to leave before the road reopens at approximately 10:00. Should anyone need to leave before, they are encouraged to park outside the sports grounds (Gzira side).
Parking in the area outside the athletics track is strictly for race organisers and helpers.
