This workshop aims to break down the concept of RRI into a series of tools and processes that allow students and researchers to put RRI ideas into practice and become “RRI ready”. By engaging in group activities and mapping exercises, the workshop will first introduce the RRI concept and encourage both academics and students to critically reflect about how RRI can be practically implemented in their own domain and context and how to incorporate RRI to improve the impact of research and increase funding success.
The workshop will host RRI expert Susan Vickers from the Wellcome Genome Campus in Cambridge who will guide participants in the activities and provide with practical examples of RRI best practice.
