The University of Malta Library Open Science Department presents Issue 36 of OAR@UM Update: March 2021.
In this issue, we would like to emphasise the importance of citizen science, and underline the role it plays within the Open Science ecosystem. Generously supported by both the European Commission and the EU's Horizon 2020 Framework Programme, citizen science spurred a number of large-scale projects and initiatives, such as the Collective Awareness Platforms for Sustainability and Social Innovation (CAPS), Socientize or EU-Citizen.Science.
Furthermore, the Open Science Department would like to inform you that the next OAR@UM Workshops will be held on:
14 April 2021 between 10:00 and 11:00
18 May 2021 between 14:00 and 15:00
10 June 2021 between 11:00 and 12:00
The workshops will be conducted online via Zoom. Book a session now.
Additionally, the presentations and video recordings of the seminar entitled Open Science: The Future of Scholarly Communication organised by the UM Library in collaboration with OpenAIRE on 24 February 2021 are now available in Open Access in OAR@UM.
The University of Malta Library Open Science Department would like to thank all the UM鈥檚 Community for the support and cooperation.
