We wanted to provide you with some information on the following Zoom features:
Scheduling Zoom meetings from Google Calendar

You can easily schedule Zoom meetings directly from your Google Calendar using the Zoom for GSuite add-on. This ensures that the calendar invites will be issued with the chosen conferencing platform (Zoom or Meet and not both). Academic staff are still advised to continue scheduling Zoom-based lectures in the VLE, however other meetings can be easily scheduled using the Zoom for GSuite add-on.

Sharing slides as a virtual background
During a Zoom meeting, you can share your PowerPoint or Keynote presentation as a virtual background instead of sharing it normally. This allows participants to view your face imposed on the presentation slides – similar to standing in front of your projected slides in the lecture/meeting room.
