What's new in OAR@UM
Newest additions to the Maltese Journals collection:The Maltese Journals collection in OAR@UM has been recently further expanded with the addition of the latest issues of some of the most prominent periodicals, namely Small States & Territories Journal, Malta Medical Journal, and International Journal of Emotional Education.
Small States & Territories Journal, the flagship publication of the Islands and Small States Institute, presents the first issue of Volume 4. Its 9 articles, accompanied by a number of shorter book reviews, tackle the topic of the COVID-19 pandemic from the perspective of small and island states such as Iceland, Malta, Vanuatu, or Samoa.
Malta Medical Journal (vol. 33, issue 1) brings forth a usual assortment of high-quality original articles, review articles, and case reports that cover a wide range of specific issues across disciplines, including (but not limited to) metastatic melanoma mortality in Malta, the anterior resection syndrome, autism, sexuality and intimacy in later life, and the antidepressant discontinuation syndrome.
Finally, the latest issue of the International Journal of Emotional Education (vol. 13, issue 1) delivers to its readers a total of 6 original research papers focusing on complex issues of emotional intelligence, emotional learning, bullying, or trauma-informed teaching in the educational context.
