The Department of Accountancy – University of Malta – in collaboration with Malta University Consulting Ltd is holding the sixth CPE seminar for 2021 which qualifies for 3 hours (Core Competencies) of Continued Professional Education.
The session aims to provide an understanding of the guidelines issued by the MFSA on the elements of proportionality, principles, information assurance and the approach to cloud computing. The session will proceed to deliver a pragmatic approach on two aspects of the guidelines: ICT risk assessment management and cyber security. MFSA issued its principle-based cross-sectorial guidelines in December 2020 and is currently carrying out thematic reviews of operators in the industry across different sectors of the financial services industry.
