The Malta Foundation for the Wellbeing of Society in collaboration with the University of Malta is carrying out a study about what helps and hinders blended families in Malta to adjust and to flourish. The aim of the study is to develop policy proposals that support blended families in the various stages of family formation and development.
This research is being led by Prof. Angela Abela from the Department of Child & Family Studies in the Faculty of Social Wellbeing, with co-researchers Dr Sue Vella from the Department of Social Policy & Social Work within the same faculty, and Prof. Suzanne Piscopo from the Department of Health, Family & Consumer Studies of the Faculty of Education.
