Opening hours
During the academic year (1 October 2022 till 15 June 2023), the Main Library will open as follows:
- Monday to Friday: 07:00 - 20:00
- Saturday: 09:00 - 12:15
The Main Library and all branches are closed on Sundays and Public Holidays.

Training workshops
Book workshops now via the Library website!
Starting from October, the Library is launching new training workshops:
1. 福利在线免费 Literacy series (via Zoom):
- 福利在线免费 Literacy: Introduction: covers different information literacy skills such as building search queries, locating, selecting and evaluating information.
- 福利在线免费 Literacy: Referencing and avoiding plagiarism: explains what plagiarism is and how to summarise, paraphrase, and directly quote passages from the text in order to avoid it. Does not cover RefWorks or Turnitin.
- 福利在线免费 Literacy: Additional research tools: introduces multiple versatile tools that can be used in conjunction with the standard Library resources and databases to maximize the efficiency and scope of your research.
2. Discover the Archives tour (delivered on-site by members of Archives & Rare Books): patrons will visit rarely seen area of the Library to discover some of the gems that form part of the Library's special collections.
In addition to the above, we will be also conducting the following workshops via Zoom:
: One stop search gateway to both print and online Library resources, and your Library account.
RefWorks: Software used to create citations and compile bibliographies in your chosen output style.
Library tours
Tours are offered both on-site and virtually via Zoom. Both tours cover general information about the Main Library, its departments and the services it offers, instructions on how to find, borrow and return books and basic training on the Library Online Catalogue.

The Health Sciences Collection has been transferred to a depository within the Main Library.

Ninu Cremona: his life and works exhibition
The exhibition 鈥淣inu Cremona: his life and works鈥 commemorates the 50th year of Ninu Cremona鈥檚 passing.
The exhibition is being held in the Main Library Foyer, and can be visited during the opening hours until 30 December, 2022.
