A series of online sessions are being organised by the Faculty of Medicine and Surgery to learn about intestinal function and its restoration to prevent diseases, including inflammatory bowel disease, metabolic diseases (obesity, diabetes), and depression, amongst others. All repeated sessions are live and online.
Subsequent sessions will be organised monthly and the second session is scheduled for January 2023 and every following month. This awareness campaign aims to disseminate information about Gut Health and preventive strategies.
Next health talks will be held next week. All sessions are given by Prof. Godfrey Grech and participants can donate for colorectal cancer research. This initiative is in collaboration with -(MCRCAG) and RIDT.
