The University of Malta is taking a significant step toward fostering a safer and more supportive campus environment with the launch of a new harassment reporting feature on the My UM App.
The Equity Office has introduced a dedicated tab, called "Harassment: Seek Support & Report," aimed at streamlining the process of reporting incidents and accessing crucial support resources.
This newly added feature allows students, faculty, and staff to report harassment incidents quickly and securely. With just a tap on the app, users have a straightforward way to seek help.
Beyond just reporting, the feature also provides access to essential support services. Users will find contact details for campus resources, counselling services, and other avenues for assistance. By consolidating these resources in one easily accessible location, the university aims to empower those affected by harassment to take action without feeling overwhelmed.
To access the new feature, simply open the My UM App and look for the "Harassment: Seek Support & Report" tab on the home screen.
