A UM academic is co-editing a EURAM 2026 conference track

Prof. Mark Anthony Camilleri is pleased to share the Call for Papers for the European Academy of Management (EURAM 2026) within Strategic Interest Group 01: Business for Society (B4S).

He is co-editing a conference track entitled “Open Innovation, Digital Platforms and the Power of the Crowd in Navigating Grand Challenges”, together with: Mario Tani, University of Naples Federico II, Italy; Gianpaolo Basile, Università Telematica Universitas Mercatorum, Rome, Italy; Ciro Troise, University of Turin, Italy; Maria Palazzo, Università Telematica Universitas Mercatorum, Rome, Italy, and Asha Thomas, WrocÅ‚aw University of Science and Technology, Poland.

The guest editorial team would like to invite conceptual, empirical, and methodological papers that explore the interplay between open innovation, digital platforms, and crowd-based applications. Their track examines the strategic shift from firm-centric models to dynamic, collaborative ecosystems. Prospective contributions ought to explore how stakeholder engagement, shared values, and community-driven innovation can generate economic, social and sustainable environmental value.

"EURAM is a learned society founded in 2001. It aims at advancing the academic discipline of management in Europe. With members from 60 countries in Europe and beyond, EURAM has a high degree of diversity and provides its members with opportunities to enrich debates over a variety of research management themes and traditions, as well as issues linked to management education and relations with the world of practice. EURAM’s Strategic Interest Groups (SIGs) are devoted to promoting state-of-the-art strategic thinking by encouraging dialogue along several interrelated lines of inquiry that are crucial for increasing scholarly and managerial understanding regarding strategic choice, competitive advantage, adaptation, and long-term performance and survival".
