KSU Freshers' Week 2025

This year, from Monday 29 September to Friday 3 October, join us for the ultimate Freshers' experience!

Freshers' Week at UM promises to help you pave a smooth and memorable transition into university life.

You'll have loads of opportunities to meet new people, explore our campus and get involved in activities that will enrich your journey here at UM. 

• For continuing students, the first day of lectures will be Monday 22 September 2025.

 

• For first years, lectures will start on Thursday 02 October 2025.

 

• On Monday 29 September, the Official Opening Ceremony will take place at Sir Temi Zammit Hall, after which UM Rector, Prof. Alfred J. Vella will visit the UM stand to officially kick off Freshers’ Week 2025.

 

• Inauguration Mass will take place at the University Chapel at noon on Monday 29 September 2025.

 

• Depending on which course you are enrolled in, you will have the opportunity to meet our Academic Registrar on Tuesday 30 September and Wednesday 01 October and discuss/ ask questions about your journey at UM. Details online.

 

There will be plenty of stands for you to explore throughout the week, but we’d love for you to stop by and say hi to us too!

You’ll find the UM stand at the Gateway Building. Trust us, you won’t want to miss it.

We’ll be giving away free UM merch and running exclusive giveaways all week long.
