Often known as "Clare’s Law," Domestic Violence Disclosure Schemes (DVDS) empower at-risk individuals by granting them access to a partner’s criminal history. But how effective are they in practice?

Dr Hadjimatheou - Director of the Centre for Criminology at the University of Essex and advisor to the UK Home Office - will unveil findings from the largest study of its kind, featuring feedback from over 600 survivors and 40 practitioners worldwide.
