Event: STEAM Next Step Stakeholder Consultations
Date: Tuesday 12 May 2026
Time: 14:30-18:00
Venue: Online
The Department of Maths & Science Education is pleased to invite you to participate in stakeholder consultations as part of the STEAM Next Step Academy, an Erasmus+ project led by the University of Malta.
The project aims to support pre-service and in-service teachers, school leaders and policymakers in using STEAM approaches, bringing together science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics, to create more engaging, inclusive, and future-oriented learning environments.
At this stage, we are gathering input from stakeholders to help shape the next steps of the project. In particular, we are working on a practical framework for STEAM education, training opportunities for educators, teaching materials and classroom guidelines a European community where educators can collaborate and share ideas. The scope is to co-create a STEAM training program for teachers, to enhance local skills and competences in this field.
Your experience and perspective would be extremely valuable in this process. We are especially interested in hearing about what is currently working well, where challenges exist, and what kind of support would be most useful in practice.
