The is pleased to announce that the application for the Japanese Government (MEXT (Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology of Japan) Scholarship for Research (Graduate) Studies for Maltese nationals for the academic year of 2027 is now open!
The MEXT Scholarship is funded by the Japanese government and is highly sought after. It covers tuition fees and includes a monthly allowance and travel expenses, making it a well-structured support system for international students pursuing a higher education in Japan.
Join us for an informative session on the prestigious MEXT Scholarship 2027, designed for Maltese research students interested in pursuing a Master’s or PhD program in Japan.
Members of the Embassy of Japan including the Chargé d’Affaires ad interim, will answer queries on the MEXT scholarship as well as insights into studying and living in Japan.
The registration deadline is Thursday, 7 May 2026 at 12:00 noon.
