Selection requirements

Please note that in order for a student to be selected, a 65% average and above in their studies is required. 

 

Social Work students

Second Year students in the Undergraduate Programme may apply for a training mobility, so as to follow SWP3311 Placement A, during the summer months between their third and fourth year of studies at:

 

  • The University College Cork

NB: 2 student placements are available
 

First Year students following the Master of Social Work Programme may apply for a training mobility, so as to follow SWP5202 Social Work Placement 2, during the second semester of the second year of studies at:  

  •  The University College Dublin

NB: 2 student placements are available

 

Following selection and acceptance of the nomination, a student can only pull out of the agreement because of serious reasons such as health issues. Should this happen, the student is aware that he/she will be required to extend their studies by a year.
