Abstract: Microwave hyperthermia has emerged as an increasingly recognised therapeutic approach for addressing various challenging medical conditions. This study conducts a comparative analysis between a three-layered phantom with and without the inclusion of gold nanoparticles in the tumour region. The investigation explores the use of nanoparticles for enhancing hyperthermia generation, their activation source, characteristics and implementation from an electromagnetic numerical analysis perspective.
