MUP Publication, 'The Future of Paceville', presented to Rector
Following its successful launch, The Future of Paceville, co-edited by and Prof. Reuben Grima and published by Malta University Press, was presented to the Rector, Alfred J. Vella.
Malta University Press was represented by Prof. Gorg Mallia and Ms Krista Bonnici.
During the presentation, one of the co-editors, Prof. Grima, described the publication as "a modest contribution to the debates around a burning issue", explaining that it brings together contributions by seven colleagues across various disciplines to examine different aspects of the erosion of public space in Paceville.
He added that the book argues that the locality serves as a bellwether for changes that may take place across Malta.
