The Department of Gender Studies will be hosting a public lecture entitled 'Gender representation in decision making in the public sector in Malta'. The speaker is Hon. Prof. Louis Naudi.
The public lecture will be held on Thursday 24 May from 17:30 to 19:30 in LT1 – Lecture Theatre 1 – Erin Serracino Inglott Hall, University of Malta Msida Campus.
The public lecture will address whether there is an equitable gender representation on public sector boards. The speaker will assess whether there is a problem where gender representation is concerned at the decision-making level. The talk will also focus on the possible solutions to these problems. Although the main focus will be on public sector boards in Malta, the talk will also include possible actions that the private sector might consider taking to increase the number of women at board level.
