The Institute for Climate Change and Sustainable Development is proud to host , Professor of Technologies and Informatics, Institute for Transport Studies (ITS), University of Leeds, UK.
Prof. Grant-Muller will be delivering a public lecture entitled 'Enabling new insights to transport scheme impacts through next generation micro-mobility data'. The public lecture will be held on Thursday 11 October between 17:30 and 18:30 in the Science Lecture Theatre, University of Malta Msida Campus.
Susan is Professor of Technologies and Informatics at the Institute for Transport Studies, University of Leeds and a Fellow of the Alan Turing Institute. Susan leads a programme of research into large scale data analytics and the role of new forms of data in developing sustainable transport policy. A statistician by discipline, she researches within the Intelligent Transport Systems field. Recently this has concerned the use of social media, mobility profiling and the role of web enabled technologies in the transport sector. Her current interests lie in understanding the wider impacts of ICT enabled mobility infrastructure (such as health, energy and carbon impacts) and the governance models for micro-level user-generated data
