'On Good Governance' is a series of reflections organised by the Centre of Ignatian Spirituality and Pietre Vive, a group of young people who pass on their faith through art. his series of reflective sessions invites participants to explore the themes of common good and good governance through the frescoes found in the Palazzo Pubblico in Siena by Ambrogio Lorenzetti. These are open to the public and are free of charge. The sessions stand alone and anyone is welcome to attend whichever session interests.
In the first session of 'On Good Governance', organised by the Centre for Ignatian Spirituality and Pietre Vive, Prof. Edward Warrington , from the Department of Public Policy, will be approaching the theme of the Common Good from the perspective of political science. Then, he will draw the discussion toward the spiritual and theological perspectives on the common good, through the Ignatian Spirituality perspective.
