Talk on nanoparticles for biomedical applications by a renowned professor.
The Department of Physics, Faculty of Science will host , FRSC, FIMMM, FInstP from UCL Healthcare, UK on Wednesday 5 December at 10:00 at Biomedical building Room 401A.
This will be part of a series of talks organised for the first International meeting of COST Action MyWAVE at the University of Malta Valletta Campus.
Prof. Thanh will present the most recent results from her cutting edge interdisciplinary and innovative research on the design, and synthesis of magnetic and plasmonic nanomaterials for biomedical applications. The talk will focus on new chemical methods to produce the next generation high magnetic moment nanoparticles and advanced functional nanorods, and novel hybrid and multifunctional nanostructures.
