Abstract
Following today's widespread interest in Chinese culture and before starting to actually learn the Chinese language, a description of a few characteristics both of the written and of the spoken language might be of some use. Since a language is a vehicle of culture, this presentation will aim at bringing the audience closer to the Chinese way of thinking. Practical experiences will also be included.
