Title: Ageing, religiosity and spirituality in Malta: Implications for social and health care policy
Date: [Event Cancelled]
Time: [Event Cancelled]
Venue: Theology Board Room (317)
Chair: Rev. Dr John Berry
Speaker: Dr Marvin Formosa
Religiosity and spirituality register an important impact on wellbeing in later life. Statistical studies have uncovered positive correlations between religiosity and spirituality on one hand, and physical, emotional and social wellbeing. This presentation argues that religion and spirituality should be included within positive and active ageing policies literature and be viewed as a type of support (amongst multiple others) that helps older adults to live positive lives despite the many challenges of ageing.
The general public is cordially invited to attend. RSVP by calling on 2340 2767 or sending an email.
