On Contemporary Continental Metaphysics
The Department of Philosophy at the University of Malta is proud to host Professor Arjen Kleinherenbrink from Radbound University, Nijmegen for a series of four talks on the topic of contemporary philosophy. The first three talks shall deal with the philosophy of Giles Deleuze, Bruno Latour, and Graham Harman respectively, while the last one shall discuss the nature of the contemporary continental turn to metaphysics more generally.
The work of these thinkers has been greatly influential in a number of academic disciplines ranging from philosophy, anthropology, archeology and social theory, to primatology, biotechnology, and economics, and should therefore be of great interest to the general educated public wishing to either consolidate their philosophical knowledge or learn more about the current trends in European philosophy. Details for the talks can be found in the attached poster. We hope to see you at the events.
