  Women were for a very long time to use Sheila Rowbotham’s phrase “Hidden from Historyâ€. However, slowly but surely Women’s History started to happen and today Women’s History is one of the most exciting fields of historical studies.
In Malta too we now have excellent academics and historians who have produced and are producing research on Women’s History on the islands. This conference plans to showcase the work of some of these historians, who will be sharing their most recent work on women in Maltese history coming from three historical eras Modern Era, Victorian Era, Contemporary Era.
