The Conference 'Il-Mara u l-Arti: Different perspectives on women in the arts' is being organised in honour of Women's Day and Women's History Month, by Pop & Art, in collaboration with the and HoASA, convened by art historian . This conference, focusing on different perspectives on women in the arts, has been organised annually for the past five years.
This event will be introduced by (Department of Art and Art History), and chaired by paintings conservator Rachel Vella. will deliver a welcoming note.
Papers on varying topics on women in the arts will be presented by Art History graduates , Nadette Xuereb, Hannah Dowling, Fine Arts graduate Marie Claire Farrugia and textile conservator Leyre Quevedo Bayona, followed by a Q&A by HoASA.
