On Tuesday 4 April 2023, (Research, Innovation and Development Trust at the University of Mata) will be producing Mro Christopher Muscat鈥檚 oratorio Stabat Mater at St John鈥檚 Co Cathedral, Valletta. The event will bring together the Malta Philharmonic Orchestra, Kor Malta, Jubilate Deo Choir, renowned international soprano Caroline Bruker and Josef Bugeja (cantor), under the direction of Mro Christopher Muscat himself.
In 2012, Muscat鈥檚 Stabat Mater was awarded first prize by an international jury in the APS Bank National Music Competition for Maltese Composer.
This event is supported by The Malta Philharmonic Orchestra, APS Bank, St. Johns Co Cathedral Foundation, the Malta Tourism Authority, Remax Crown (Sliema), Air Malta, Grand Hotel Excelsior, Manoel Theatre and Net TV.
