There is so much being told about the Israeli-Palestinian Conflict, on every medium imaginable, that it鈥檚 become harder to decipher misleading narratives around the matter. Moreover the complexity of the 75 year old Palestinian Question means that few of us understand the context of the conflict.
The Teach-in on Gaza, organised by the Department of Education within the , together with the within the Faculty of Arts, will provide a socio-political context for understanding the resistance to occupation.
It aims to discuss the plight of Palestinians in Gaza and the diaspora, as well as those observing the events in view of its impact on the international community and the region.
Speakers, each presenting from their distinct perspectives, aim to contribute to a better understanding of the crisis in Gaza and the broader issue of the Palestine Question since the Nakba of 1948.
