The within the will be organising a Third International Conference on Bioethics focusing, this time, on Bioethics and Neuroscience.

The conference will be entitled The Metamorphosis of the Body: Bioethics and Neuroscience and will be held online via videoconferencing.

• From 7 to 9 March 2024 in Italian
• From 14 to 16 March 2024 in English

Papers will be presented by 36 academics from Malta, Italy, France, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Greece, Spain, Granada, Dominican Republic, the UK, and the US, with expertise ranging from neuroscience, medicine, engineering, philosophy, theology, bioethics and medical humanities, psychology, law, sociology, criminology and art.

The Conference will have six sessions:

1. In praise of uncertainty: beyond determinism
2. Between biology and mystery: Searching for the roots of the self
3. The Genealogy of Morality: The Moral Brain
4. Healing the mind to heal the body
5. The Mind Behind Bars: Exploring the Nexus of Crime and Neuroscience
6. Neurosciences and the world of tomorrow.
