The Institute of Earth Systems is organising a short online information session for potential applicants interested in reading for the Master of Science in Environmental Monitoring and Assessment. The M.Sc. EMA is a 3-semester full-time degree starting in October 2024, and is designed to equip graduates with specialised knowledge, practical application and technical skills for career advancement in the field of environmental monitoring and assessment.
As an alternative option for those looking to enhance their Continuing Professional Development (CPD), we offer a range of micro-credential study-units tailored to meet the evolving demands of the industry and provide the flexibility to deepen your expertise in specific areas without committing to a full-time course.
Topics on offer as micro-credentials starting in October 2024 include environmental impact assessment, methods of data analysis and quality assurance, remote sensing, monitoring and assessment of environmental noise levels, and soil pollution and remediation. Further details are available online.
This webinar will provide a comprehensive overview of both the degree programme and the CPD study-units on offer, highlighting key features of the course content as well as the unique opportunities for career advancement through both full-time and flexible study.
Recent graduates and current final year students studying for a first degree in Earth Systems, Science or Engineering are invited to attend this information session on Monday 22 July 2024.
Please to receive the Zoom link for the event.
If you are unable to attend the webinar but would still like more information about the application process, course details, and deadlines, please get in touch with either Prof. Charles Galdies or Dr Belinda Gambin, the new course coordinator from October 2024.
