Following the National Water Conference on Wednesday 19 February at The Palace Hotel, Sliema, which will focus on Non-Conventional Water Resources for Water Resilience, the conversation will continue at the University of Malta the next morning.
On Thursday 20 February, from 09:00 to 11:00 in Room CHBO213, we will host an discussion with Prof. David Sedlak (Director of the Berkeley Water Center) and Prof. Sharon Megdal (Director of the Water Resources Research Center, University of Arizona).
This session will delve into the role of academia in addressing societal water challenges and share insights on collaborating with stakeholders to align research efforts with real-world needs.
We encourage staff and students interested in water sustainability, science and management to join this session and contribute to the discussion.
