The (MCS) is hosting a panel discussion titled "Decoding the Weather: The Science and Challenges of Weather Forecasting" on Thursday 20 March 2025 at 19:00 at the Friggieri Hall, Valletta Design Cluster, Valletta.

Weather forecasting plays a crucial role in everyday life, influencing sectors such as aviation, agriculture, disaster preparedness, and public safety. However, misconceptions about meteorology and the interpretation of forecasts often lead to confusion and scepticism. This event aims to demystify the forecasting process, from data collection to communication, while addressing public concerns about accuracy and reliability.

The panel will feature experts from different meteorological fields, including:
