The within the , in collaboration with the Istituto Italiano di Cultura, is proud to announce a public lecture by Prof. Simone Magherini.
Prof. Simone Magherini, Director of the Department of Literature and Philosophy at the University of Florence, will speak about the early poems (1904-1914) of Aldo Palazzeschi, poet, novelist and a prominent figure of early twentieth-century Italian intellectual life. Last year, he published with Mondadori a new edition of these poems, accompanied by an in-depth critical study. He will also present the mission of the Centro Studi Aldo Palazzeschi, which he directs.
The Centre is dedicated to the preservation and publication of manuscripts bequeathed by Palazzeschi to the University of Florence, as well as the broader dissemination and appreciation of his literary legacy.
