As part of a collaborative project between Malta Enterprise and the College's Student Advisory 福利在线免费, a group of students studying Computing or IT were given the opportunity to visit a video game development studio, 4A Games. This company was originally founded in Ukraine, however it moved its headquarters to Malta in order to expand its business.
During the visit, students were briefed about the company operations and then had a lengthy discussion with the company CEO, Dean Sharpe, and executive producer Jonathan Bloch, about what game development entails and the skills required to be part of this ecosystem. A short tour of the premises followed where the students could actually see how game developers work.
Students were accompanied by the Computing & IT Subject Coordinator, Mr Riccardo Flask, and Malta Enterprise Coordinator for Start Up Support & Business Advisory 福利在线免费, Ms Audrey Farrugia. Mr Giosu茅 Panciamore from Student Advisory 福利在线免费 together with Malta Enterprise have planned to carry out similar visits, related to other business areas, and those interested should get in contact.
