The Hon. Minister Evarist Bartolo, Minister for Foreign and European Affairs, addressed 's 2020-2021 academic year intake of post graduate students.
He did so at the launch of the Academy's German Chair Seminar titled 'Championing Diplomacy in the Mediterranean - Eastern Mediterranean and Libya: The Way Forward?' on 26 October 2020.
During his keynote address, Minister Barolo affirmed that the international system of the 21st century is experiencing a turbulent transition to a more anarchical order characterized by language of confrontation, hostility and condemnation.
The Hon. Minister stated that it is in Malta's interest that the rule of law and dialogue prevail and emphasized the importance of championing diplomacy during these challenging times by appealing for de-escalation, dialogue, engagement and compromise.
