One of the premier European events on Distributed Computing technologies, called DisCoTec, will be hosted again by the Computer Science Department at the University of Malta between June 14 and June 18.
DisCoTec is a confederation of several conferences sponsored by the International Federation for ¸£ÀûÔÚÏßÃâ·Ñ Processing (IFIP) and the European Association for Programming Languages and Systems (EAPLS). It covers a broad spectrum of distributed computing subjects — from theoretical foundations and formal description techniques, testing and verification methods, to language design and system implementation approaches. The three main conferences are:
-
COORDINATION 2021 - 23nd International Conference on Coordination Models and Languages
-
DAIS 2021 - 21st International Conference on Distributed Applications and Interoperable Systems
-
FORTE 2021 - 41st International Conference on Formal Techniques for Distributed Objects, Components, and Systems
DisCoTec 2021 will also host the following satellite events:
-
DisCoTec Tools Tutorial sessions
-
FOCODILE 2021 - 2nd International Workshop on Foundations of Consensus and Distributed Ledgers
-
ICE 2021 - 14th Interaction and Concurrency Experience Workshop
-
REMV 2021 - 1st International Workshop on Robotics, Electronics and Machine Vision
An illustrious list of keynote speakers from both industry and academia will complement the technical material presented at the conference:
-
, iExec (FR) on Building a Decentralized, Trusted and Privacy-Preserving Computing Infrastructure
-
, Technical University of Darmstadt (DE) on Reactive Computations for Consistent-by-Design Distributed Applications
-
, University College London (UK) on Black-Box Analysis of Network Protocol Implementations
The full programme is available .
Registration is free of charge for all those that do not have a paper to present. The conference registration can be found through this link; the registration form can be accessed by following the link at the bottom of this page.
Deadline for registration is 7 June 2021 midnight CET.
