The University of Malta has joined forces with student and youth platform , celebrating the start of their partnership by displaying a large banner at the University鈥檚 gateway in support of frontliners and students who are helping out in the national vaccination roll-out.
They have both devoted their efforts in thanking those who have had it the hardest throughout this ongoing pandemic, praising them for their perseverance and dedication.
Through the FreeHour platform, Maltese students were asked to provide flowers, personalised messages and any other show of respect to the hard-working medical frontliners. These artefacts were then personally handed to the frontliners at Mater Dei, and a beautiful appreciation corner was set up close to the vaccination centre at the University Gateway Building in Msida.
Other than this initiative, the two are also collaborating on promoting the University鈥檚 Student Solidarity Fund, which financially assists students during this difficult time, and are also working together to create meaningful content that raises awareness on mental health.
