Representatives of both teams from the University of Brest and the University of Cadiz travelled to Malta for this staff week. Colleagues from the other Universities joined these meetings remotely.
This 2-day event offered a vital opportunity for different expert groups within SEA-EU to compare notes and deliver powerful constructive advice on how to pursue the thorny matter of mutual academic recognition. The setting up of an Export Group on Academic Automatic Recognition (EGAAR) was recommended, to handle requests from students wishing to transfer from one university to another within the SEA-EU Alliance.
The work of these two groups focuses on creating more opportunities for students that go beyond the ERASMUS + experience. It is hoped that these exchanges among the SEA-EU Alliance partners are paving the way for unique opportunities for our students.
