Aurelia Carpov and Svetlana Oleinic, professors at Department of Architecture within the Faculty of Architecture and Urban Planning of the Technical University of Moldova, have completed an Erasmus+ International Credit Mobility for Teaching Staff Mobility at the Department of Architecture & Urban Design, University of Malta. The mobility took place over the week 9-13 May 2022.
Prof. Carpov and Prof. Oleinic delivered lectures to students following the course in history and theory of architecture at the Faculty for the Built Environment. The lectures focused on the phenomenon and principles of constructivism, the creative process of Konstantin Melnikov, the Bauhaus and Vkhutemas, the leading revolutionary schools of architecture and design of the early twentieth century. Furthermore, they actively participated in tutorials to postgraduate students and in a research seminar whereby candidates following the M.Arch. course presented their ongoing research relating to their dissertations. Attendance to this Erasmus+ mobility was circa 80% of the respective cohorts.
