Professor Vella spent ten days in Lithuania, and his twenty-hour course, entitled 'Experimental pedagogies: Drawing processes of unlearning', was attended by students from the Vilnius Academy of Arts. The creative workshop was informed by a democratic negotiation of difference and personal or cultural demarcations related to identity, culture and nation. The workshop鈥檚 pedagogical method questioned power and developed critiques of notions of identity and other 'border' concepts.

The final day of the workshop was allocated to co-curatorial processes, in which the class organised a pop-up exhibition with their works and various collected objects. This course was made possible by the Erasmus+ Staff Teaching Mobility programme.
