from the has visited Harbin Engineering University (HEU) in Heilongjiang, China, as part of the collaborative research on “Dual Fuel Engine Technology and Dynamic Behaviour Improvement for Marine Application” –‘BIMA’.

This research funding is through the MCST SINO- MALTA Fund 2021-16. While in HEU, Prof. Farrugia delivered lectures to postgraduate students and doctoral candidates on ‘Electronic Engine Controls Progression to Dual Fuel’. 

He also had various fruitful discussions with Faculty members on methods for teaching of engineering and talent development.
