The Certificate programme for Nurse Graduates of Non-Eu/EEA programmes (bridging programme) offered by the Department of Nursing at the University of Malta continues to measure growing success, year after year.
On 13 October 2023, 33 international nurses who successfully completed this Certificate programme over the last 24 months were invited to a celebration ceremony at the Faculty of Health Sciences.
The ceremony was graciously addressed by two alumni, Tahmina Avril and Sohail Siddique, who shared their reflections about their experience on the UM's Certificate programme.
Dr Catherine Sharples, Programme Co-ordinator, hosted the ceremony.
Pro-Rector for Academic Affairs, Prof. Joseph Cacciotolo, addressed the ceremony.
Dr Stephen Lungaro Mifsud, Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences, Dr Trevor Abela Fiorentino, Head of the Department of Nursing, and Ms Carmen Mangion, Deputy registrar, were in attendance at the ceremony.
