Themed "Internationalisation in a Changing World: New Trends and Challenges for QA", this year's forum delved into various facets of European policies and trends, featuring sessions that encompassed research, practical case examples, and broader discussions on current developments in quality assurance. EQAF 2023, with its focus on QA policies and practices supporting innovative forms of internationalisation, provided a comprehensive exploration of how quality assurance can effectively address emerging needs and challenges within the (EHEA).
Dr Vanhear actively engaged in workshops and contributed significantly to discussions, particularly emphasising how QA can play a pivotal role in ensuring the long-term sustainability of transnational mobility and cooperation. The discourse extended to assessing the fitness of the (ESG) for the future, as well as exploring how the European Framework can establish connections with quality assurance beyond the confines of the EHEA.
