On Wednesday 17 April 2024, the Faculty for Social Wellbeing held its annual Faculty Seminar, incorporating the theme of AI in Education and Learning. The session was moderated by Dr Dylan Seychell, a resident academic at the University of Malta's Department of Artificial Intelligence.
During the seminar, the Faculty members delved into nuances of artificial intelligence and its relationship with education. Discussion ensued on how this cutting-edge technology can help transform teaching and learning in our Faculty and University in general. Practical applications of AI in tutoring, lecturing and assessments were explored.
