An took place in Barletta on 23-24 May as part of the official programme of the , ahead of the forthcoming Apulia Leaders’ Summit (13-15 June). Engagement summits conduct their work autonomously from governments and transmit their recommendations to G7 Leaders.
The high-level event was hosted by the Apulian municipality of Barletta, while the scientific organization was coordinated by the and the Presidency of the .
A select group of scholars from G7 and non-G7 countries, including from UM’s , were invited to participate in the two-day summit to discuss conviviality and interculturality. Their recommendations were communicated to the G7 Presidency and will be presented at the World Congress of Philosophy being held in Rome this August.

Prof. De Lucca was also among the academics invited to participate in one of two public fora on the themes discussed at the summit. The packed event, held in Barletta’s historical Teatro Curci, was attended by local authorities, scholars, social and cultural actors, as well as high school and university students.
