How much truth does the phrase ‘the higher the risk, the higher the reward’ hold?
The positivity in the correlation between risk and return lies in potential – when you risk a lot, you stand to gain a lot too. Using this principle, and adapting it to your risk aptitude or aversion in life, there always needs to be a trade-off.
Is that trade-off something that will lead you towards your dream career?
Managing risks is essential to every organisation’s performance. If you have an analytical mind, an eye for spotting details (and pinpointing them), and an insight that could be useful for strategic decisions, this is a career you might want to consider.
The University of Malta’s Department of Insurance and Risk Management is offering you the chance of taking this leap towards achieving your potential.
The course leading you to become a Professional Risk Manager, which is Certified by the Federation of European Risk Managers (RIMAP), gives you an Award Certificate at Level 7 (5 ECTS) from UM.
This accreditation may be obtained via the INS5022 Advanced Enterprise Risk Management course, which shall be delivered as a block course between the 22 and 26 July 2024.
The Department of Insurance and Risk Management has teamed up with the Associazione dei Risk Manager e Responsabili Assicurazioni Aziendali (ANRA) to deliver this course.
