The organised the annual Dean's Award Ceremony at the Tal-Qroqq Campus.
This event which attracted almost 300 individuals, included a performance by Dancel Dance Studio, a number of classical well-known songs performed by Thea Gauci, speeches by the Dean and the Academic Registrar Dr Colin Borg, and a series of clips showcasing the work the Faculty has been involved in.
Visiting Lecturer anchored the event.
The highlights of the event were:
- the awarding of the Dean's Award to students at Undergraduate and Postgraduate levels,
- the Dr Jacqueline Azzopardi Awards,
- the Social Commitment Awards,
- the Faculty Lifetime Award to Rennie Zerafa and Angele Cuschieri from Puttinu Cares and
- the Dean's Special Award was awarded to Isabelle Bonnici who campaigned against the illegalities in the construction industry after her son Jean Paul was killed under the rubble of a collapsed building.
