Dr Diane Vassallo from the Faculty of Education recently participated in an inspiring workshop titled 'Developing Digital, Green, Interdisciplinary, and Innovative Training Pathways for SEA-EU 2.0', aimed to create a practical vision for future training pathways that integrate digital and green skills in an interdisciplinary and innovative manner.
The workshop was organised as part of the SEA-EU 2.0 activities, namely Task 2.2, and it was held at the beginning of June 2024 in Gdańsk, Poland. The workshop included a deep dive into the Short Competency Report which summarised the results of a survey distributed among SEA-EU partners in summer 2023. The survey results were thoroughly reviewed, highlighting the current capabilities and future needs of SEA-EU partners.
This was followed by sharing of best practices and productive brainstorming on sustainability and digital training pathways. Participants, including representatives from Malta, presented their universities’ best practices in advancing green and digital education. A collaborative manifesto, which has emerged from these discussions, strives to shape the future of green and digital education within the SEA-EU alliance.
The event fostered a collaborative environment where attendees collectively explored the nuances of sustainability and the integration of digital training pathways.
Participation was coordinated by the SEA-EU Office at UM and supported by the International Office via the Erasmus+ funding.
